We don’t just show you Pakistan.
We take you home.
Born in Pakistan. Built for the world.
I grew up in Pakistan and moved to the UK at the age of eight. For years, visits back home meant relatives, cities, and the familiar. Then in 2020 I stumbled across Fairy Meadows on YouTube: a meadow sitting beneath the world’s ninth highest mountain, barely known outside Pakistan. Something shifted.
I have now visited Fairy Meadows seven times. Four summers, three winters. Each trip completely different: different light, different snow, different silence. I have trekked to Rakaposhi Base Camp, explored Skardu, wandered through Hunza and Gilgit, crossed the Deosai Plateau, and completed multiple motorcycle tours through the northern areas. The more I saw, the more I understood that Pakistan’s mountains are world class. The world just does not know it yet.
I also saw how the industry was failing the people who did make it here. International operators were charging premium prices and quietly handing tours off to local subcontractors, sometimes three levels down, with the experience degrading at every step. Even local companies were outsourcing, marking up, and cutting corners. Travellers were paying serious money and getting a compromised version of a place that deserves so much better.
North Nomads was founded in 2024 to do the opposite. We operate every single trek directly: no middlemen, no subcontracting, no markup chains. Just our own team, on the ground, with the local knowledge and genuine relationships to make every trip exceptional. Pakistan deserves better representation on the global tourism stage. We are here to provide it.
