    Islamabad to Chilas

    Depart early morning from Islamabad and travel north along the legendary Karakoram Highway—one of the world's highest paved international roads. The route follows the Indus River through dramatic gorges and mountain landscapes, passing through Abbottabad, Besham, and the confluence point where three mighty mountain ranges meet: Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush.

    Chilas to Fairy Meadows

    After breakfast, drive to Raikot Bridge (approximately 1 hour). At Raikot Bridge, transfer to 4x4 jeeps for the thrilling ride up one of the world's most adventurous jeep tracks to Tato Village (approximately 2 hours). The narrow mountain road offers spectacular views but requires experienced local drivers.

    From Tato Village, begin the trek to Fairy Meadows. The 5-6 km trail ascends through pine forests with increasingly spectacular views of Nanga Parbat's north face. Porters and horses are available to carry luggage. Arrive at Fairy Meadows by late afternoon and settle into your accommodation.

    Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek

    The highlight of the journey. Depart early morning for Nanga Parbat Base Camp. The trail ascends gradually through Beyal Camp, offering ever-closer views of the massive north face of Nanga Parbat. The landscape transitions from alpine meadows to rocky moraine terrain as you approach the base camp.

    At Base Camp (4,100m), spend time absorbing the immense scale of the mountain—the Rupal Face rises over 4,500 meters directly above, one of the highest mountain faces in the world. After lunch and exploration, return to Fairy Meadows before sunset.

    05

    Fairy Meadows to Naran via Babusar Pass

    After a final breakfast with mountain views, trek back down to Tato Village (2-3 hours). The descent offers different perspectives of the Nanga Parbat massif. From Tato, take the jeep back to Raikot Bridge.

    Begin the scenic drive toward Naran, passing through Chilas and ascending to Babusar Pass (4,173m)—the gateway between Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The pass offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks before descending through the beautiful Kaghan Valley. Arrive in Naran by evening.

    Naran to Islamabad

    Return journey through the stunning Kaghan Valley. The route descends along the Kunhar River, passing through Balakot, Mansehra, and Abbottabad before reaching Islamabad by evening. Trip ends upon arrival in Islamabad.

    Optional: Add an extra night in Islamabad and enjoy a complimentary half-day city tour visiting Faisal Mosque, Daman-e-Koh viewpoint, and Pakistan Monument.
